Thank you for stopping by The Shabby Store®! We are an online retailer for home decor products and supplies.  We also offer custom refinishing for most of our home decor products shown in our shop.   As a custom refinishing shop, we take pride in refinishing most our items in our own facility: priming, hand brush painting, embellishing, spray painting, distressing, and using clear coat sealant. We have partnered with interior designers, realtors, photography studios, boutiques, and retailers.  We take pride in being a top 1% shop out of the 1.7 million Etsy shops worldwide (

Most of our items are "painted to order" and can not be shipped right away. Our lead time before shipping is 3-8 business days. You can always message us if you need an ETA for an order!


All orders ship USPS.  We will either ship your order first class or priority mail.

First Class: 2-5 days
Priority Mail: 2-3 days

Each order is sent to the shipping address on file when placing the order; please make sure this information is accurate. Any returned packages due to an incorrect shipping address (that was not communicated and confirmed in advance) will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense. No refund will be made on returned items. 

Please contact us if tracking shows your order is lost in the mail. We ask that you wait up to 5 days after tracking stops to contact us (weather, strikes, etc. can cause shipping delays). We will be glad to refund or reship your order if tracking does not show delivered after the 5th day tracking stopped updating.

The Shabby Store® ships to the address on file and cannot be responsible for stolen packages. If you have issues with packages shipping to your address, please consider updating your shipping address to a more reliable location. USPS insurance claims cannot be processed for this issue type.  No refunds will be issued and we will have to recommend to reorder to an alternate address.

Please send us a message within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please include photos showing the damage to the item and the packaging as it arrived to you, which is necessary for the insurance claim. Please do not wait to contact us, as we are under specific time constraints to obtain an insurance refund.  We will be glad to offer a replacement or full refund once a photo of the damage has been received. We cannot process a replacement or a refund for orders that were received damaged but not reported to us in a timely manner.


The Shabby Store® accepts returns. Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to request the item(s) to be returned. We do not provide return labels for any orders. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We advise to use a shipping method that will provide a tracking number to verify the return. 

We will not refund the original shipping costs. In the event of a return request, the original shipping is a service that has already been provided by USPS in which USPS has already been paid to deliver the order to you. Since the service has been completed, they will not offer a refund, and therefore we cannot either. Thank you for understanding that there are no exceptions to this.

We will refund the cost of the item(s) within 48 hours of receiving the returned item. The item must be in original condition with no damage. If an item is returned damaged, a refund will not be provided; because of this, we recommend purchasing insurance in case the item is damaged during shipping.
